    Flight Cheetah FL270 Navigational Database Includes:

  • 13,000 Public / Private Airports including the Caribbean;
  • Class B, C, D, Prohibited, Alert, MOA Airspace;
  • Vor's, Ndb's, Intersections, Outer and Middle Markers;
  • Highways, Secondary Roads, Lakes, Coastlines and State Borders;

Moving Map Questions:

  • Is the Flight Cheetah IFR Certified ? No, the Flight Cheetah FL 270 is portable and for supplemental use only.
  • Do I need a separate GPS ? No, the satellite transceiver has a GPS engine -- which means that you not only have your two-way link, but also a GPS feed -- all through one cable. If you do not need a data link and are looking for all the other GPS moving map functions you can use any GPS receiver.
  • Can I tie this into my autopilot ? No, because it is not certified you cannot tie your autopilot into the Flight Cheetah FL 270.
  • How much do updates cost ? The database updates are provided free of charge as part of some in-flight services plans.  To view the service plans go to in-flight services.
